The legal services offered by Mino Obigiwasin - Anicinape Child & Family Services include the legal and court part of youth protection. This department includes lawyers and legal secretaries. It is in August 2021 that the legal existence became a reality by the registration of Mino Obigiwasin in the central file of the Registraire des entreprises du Québec. Since then, things have proceeded at high speed, first through discussions on the modalities of taking over the legal services, then through the actual taking over of the communities of Lac Simon and KitciSakik in the first instance (Phase "1"). The points of service of Long Point First Nation-Winneway and Pikogan-Abitibiwinni will follow in the near future.
