Mino Obigiwasin Anicinape Child and Family Services was established to provide child and family services to its population. This follows an agreement signed with CISSSAT for the management of youth protection for the four Anicinape communities: Kitcisakik, Lac Simon, Abitibiwinni (Pikogan), and Long Point (Winneway). Mino Obigiwasin's vision is to ensure that all Anicinape children and families have a stable, safe, happy living environment rooted in their culture.
JOB SUMMARY
In accordance with Mino Obigiwasin's mission, guidelines, values, and general policies, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the delivery of services by the application of measures team at their point of service. They are also responsible for applying the organization's human resources and financial rules and best practices.
ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES

More specifically, the role and responsibilities are as follows:
Provide users with relevant services that meet their needs and the legal obligations to which the troubled youth program and their families are subject, in line with MINO OBGIWASIN's mission, values, and philosophy.
- Mobilize staff and ensure that they can work effectively and efficiently under optimal conditions.
- Supervise service providers and provide support tailored to their needs.
- Ensure that clinical data is entered in accordance with Mino Obigiwasin's expectations.
- Organize innovative clinical intervention projects to meet the many needs of clients, while optimizing human and financial resources.
- Assess and plan training needs for staff.
- Lead various team committees and staff meetings.
- Plan and manage a budget that allows for the updating of services in accordance with standards and resources.
- Determine and implement service pathways with all front-line services and other programs, with a view to providing a continuum of customer service.
- Ensure the accessibility, continuity, quality, relevance, and cohesion of services in accordance with the institution's expectations and report on them.
- Use various dashboards in managing the quality of customer services.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychoeducation, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the Youth Protection Act in an Indigenous context.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the field.
- Experience in supervision is a significant asset.
- Knowledge and experience in the First Nations community are an asset.
- Be able to manage employees and situations remotely.
- Possess strong organizational skills as well as resourcefulness and autonomy.
- Be comfortable with the risk management process under your responsibility and be able to monitor the quality of services.
- Have an innovative approach to contributing to the implementation of a youth protection system that meets the needs of children, their families, and their communities while respecting Anicinape values and traditions.
- Be thorough and have a strong sense of ethics.
- Be bilingual (French and English).
- Hold a Class 5 driver's license.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
- Permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week.
- Full range of benefits, including group insurance with employer contribution after 3 months and pension fund (RBA) after 6 months with employer contribution at 182%.
