Housekeeping attendant

Mino Obigiwasin Child & Family Services Anicinape was established to provide child and family services to its population. This follows an agreement signed with CISSSAT to manage youth protection for the 4 Anicinape communities: Kitcisakik, Lac Simon, Abitibiwinni (Pikogan) and Long Point (Winneway). Mino Obigiwasin's vision is to ensure a stable, safe, happy and culturally-rooted environment for all Anicinape children and families.

JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the General Manager, the incumbent performs housekeeping duties at MINO OBIGIWASIN offices.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remove stains from walls, light switches, doors, doorknobs, mirrors, windows, etc;
- Dust surfaces such as desks, tables, blinds, light fixtures and others;
- Wash, stain and disinfect toilets and washbasins;
- Sweep and wash floors and stairs;
- Empty garbage and recycling garbage cans and replace bags;
- Fill soap, product and paper dispensers;
- Keep track of supplies and products needed for proper operation;
- Any other task required by the position.

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma;
- Knowledge and experience in a First Nations environment an asset;
- Class 5 driver's license;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and be discreet;
- Be methodical, structured and rigorous;

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
- Permanent part-time position 15h to 20h per week;
- Monday to Friday;
- Dynamic and creative team.
