Knowledge Keeper

JOB SUMMARY

The Knowledge Keeper will participate in the preparation of the consultations on the Anicinape Law and will advise the team on Anicinape modes of communication, the functioning of the community and its traditional way of life, in order to ensure that the consultations and the development of the system are conducted in a culturally sensitive manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be from an Anicinape community that is a member of Mino Obigiwasin;
• Be recognized within their community for their wisdom and knowledge of Anicinape family wellness practices;
• Be able to advise the C-92 team on how to engage the public in consultations and conduct consultations;
• Be able to travel to Val-d'Or occasionally.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Part time 15 hours per week;
• Temporary position for 2 years;
• Flexible schedule and dynamic team.
